I am thrilled to share with you a moment that has been ten months in the making, a journey filled with creativity, collaboration, and a deep love for flavors that bridge cultures and tell a story. Today, I am delighted to announce the launch of our Ube Brownie Bar, crafted in partnership with the incredible Filipina race car driver, Bianca Bustamante

This isn't just another chocolate bar; it’s a piece of our hearts, a celebration of Filipino heritage, and a testament to the vibrant and rich tapestry of flavors that ube, a beloved purple yam from the Philippines, brings to the world of chocolate. From the very beginning, Bianca and I shared a vision of creating something truly unique and meaningful. The Ube Brownie Bar is the delicious outcome of that vision, blending the tropical notes of ube with the comforting, rich undertones of our finest chocolate. Learn more about the bar here.

Come Taste the Magic

This weekend, we are opening our doors at the Marsatta Chocolate Experience Centre at 1321 Post Ave from 11 am to 6 pm. We invite you, our closest supporters, to be among the first to taste the Ube Brownie Bar. But that’s not all! We’re also excited to share a sneak peek of a couple of other experimental bars that are "on deck" and "in the hole." These new creations are still in the experimental stages, and your feedback will be invaluable as we perfect them.

Our Journey with UC Irvine

Our journey of growth and innovation wouldn't be possible without the incredible support and insights we've received over the years. Since 2021, UC Irvine MBA students have played a pivotal role in helping us refine our business positioning, and their contributions have been instrumental in our success. Now, we're thrilled to announce that we're partnering with UC Irvine students once again to revamp our marketing and packaging. This new collaboration aims to elevate our brand even further, and we couldn't be more excited about the possibilities.

The Heart of the Ube Brownie Bar

Allow me to give you a closer look at what makes the Ube Brownie Bar so special:

Distinctive Filipino Flavor: Bianca has infused her Filipino heritage into this bar with ube, a purple yam native to the Philippines. Enhanced by notes of vanilla and coconut, the ube melds beautifully with the chocolate base, creating a harmonious and delightful flavor.

A Delectable Chocolate Experience: This carefully crafted bar uses only the finest ingredients, including organic coconut sugar and real vanilla, avoiding artificial vanillin. The rich chocolate complements the ube, offering a balanced and sophisticated taste that's sure to satisfy.

Health Benefits: By using organic coconut sugar and natural vanilla, we've ensured that this bar is as wholesome as it is delicious. Coconut sugar provides a lower glycemic index compared to traditional sugars, while natural vanilla is rich in antioxidants.

Supporting a Meaningful Cause: A part of the proceeds from this bar will support Kusina ng Kalinga, a charity that provides healthy meals to children in need across the Philippines. Every purchase helps provide resources to children in underserved communities, making each bite of the Ube Brownie Bar even more rewarding.
