Let’s get one thing straight—at Marsatta Chocolate, we’re not some buttoned-up chocolate company sitting in a boardroom debating synergies and market strategies. No. We’re in the lab, sleeves rolled up, covered in cocoa dust, experimenting like mad scientists who just happen to have a thing for really, really good chocolate.

I’ve been at this for over 30 years (and leading Marsatta for over 20 years), and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that the best flavors don’t come from playing it safe. Chocolate should be an adventure, a thrill, an experience that makes you stop and say, what did I just eat… and why do I love it so much? That’s why we created Genius! Bars—because who wants the same old predictable chocolate when you can have something that pushes the boundaries of deliciousness?

This is where we tinker, where we throw convention out the window and ask, “What if?”—often followed by “Oops… but also… hmm… interesting.” We’re talking about flavors like Matcha, designed for a luxury hotel that demanded something decadent yet unexpected. Or 100% Crystal Chocolate with Ocean Salt, which sounds like something from a high-stakes alchemy experiment but, trust me, is pure magic. And because we love a good twist, we’re reinventing our Dark Chocolate bars, because why settle for good when you can make it genius?

Now, fair warning—these bars are made in extremely low volumes. I’m talking sold out in days, not weeks. Some flavors may never return (a moment of silence for all the chocolate that could have been). This is a chance to get in on the ground floor of something special, to be a part of our chocolate rebellion.
